Junior Theatre

Following in her mom's footsteps, Waverly started Junior Theatre today.
She was a little shy and reserved and wasn't sure she really wanted to open the huge door and go inside.

Her teacher, Miss Marina, was wearing a pirate hat because the name of the class is "Pirates and Princesses." She explained some of the things that the actors would be doing. Respect was the word that she said they really practice at SDJT.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Mom knows that song.

Waverly looked over all the stations that were set up and turned back to us and said, "You were right. I like it here."
At the end of class she came out proud and happy and reported that she had had a great time. The paper in her hand asked her to tell us one of the five tools that actors use. She named her body and her voice.

Did she really like coloring best?

This Should Be A Video

Here is Waverly in action after her JT class. We should have had the camera on "video."

Climbing Wall

Waverly and friend Alexis worked hard to scale the climbing wall at Hollandia Park in San Marcos.

They met in pre-school last year and, as you can see, really enjoying being together.
Both love to "pose" for the camera and
both love finding a stage to dance on.

Karate

Waverly attended a Karate birthday party for her friend Dillen. Dillen had broken her first board and Waverly proudly signed it, making a perfect "W" the only letter of her name that she knew how to write.
She seemed a natural at presenting and defending. Are Karate lessons in her future?

Flower Girl

Waverly was one of the beautiful flower girls at Aunt Jess' wedding.

Such a pretty little lady!

The Reception

After the photos were taken the girls enjoyed the landscaping at The Thursday Club with a little swinging in the trees and running on the grass. Then it was time to get serious and walk like ladies into the reception.

Do we get to eat, now?

What huge strawberries.
Enjoy, Waverly.

Dancing Queen

See that girl, watch that scene, Waverly is the dancing queen. She's young and sweet, only three, dancing with her daddy to the steady beat. She can dance, she can jive having the time of her life. Dancing Queen!
