TinkerBell at the El Capitan

Here we are at the new Disney movie, TinkerBell, at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The theater is beautiful and the film is delightful. Waverly and friends loved it!!! As did Mom, Maga and Charlton.

The Wedding

Waverly and Maga snuggled while waiting for the wedding to start. During the ceremony, when things were very emotional, Waverly asked... "Will you come to my wedding, Maga? And will you have tears in your eyes?"

Waverly's favorite part of the wedding was meeting the bride, Princess Brittnnee.

On Safari

While in Tucson, we went on a safari to the International Wildlife Museum where Waverly stood under a giraffe... and showed us her sweet lion face.
(See what the lion and the girl have to say in the video below.)
Charlton wasn't so sure he liked the mouth on this lioness but Waverly gave her a smooch.

Sissy isn't going to feed you to the big alligator, Charlton. Honest!
There is still too much to see at this wonderful museum.

Disney Characters

Waverly met lots of Disney characters this week. Her new friends included Chip and Dale,
Minnie Mouse (who had lunch with her but wouldn't talk),
Buzz Lightyear (who was so big Dad had to hold Waverly for the photo),
Mickey Mouse,
Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (with whom she was shy),
and Pluto.

Cousins and Legoland

Aunt Judy, Uncle Karl, Alyssa and Spencer are visiting from New Jersey so we all headed over to Legoland to play.

Alyssa and Spencer liked the big kid water play area while Waverly preferred the one for toddlers. Sadly, she didn't win the Olympic Gold Medal for "water swinging." Watch the video and you'll see why. Oops!

And this is why she preferred the little kids area. All that water being dumped on your head was just too scary.

Firsts

A first school... (is this a preschool?) a first school art project...
a first library card.
A first day of preschool for our first grandchild.

School Days, School Days

Ahhhhh! I'm going to preschool for the first time! There are tables of play dough, tubs of seeds and beans for scooping and measuring and pouring,
friends to play with, a cubby all my own,
and a princess bed to crawl into to read books... or just rest. School is sooooooooooooooo much fun!
What a grown up girl you are, Waverly.
